Melvin Kenneth "Warren" gained his wings and went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 5, 2021. He was wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend. Always willing to help anyone he could with a smile on his face.
He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and remained a man of faith and a role model to many. After 30 years at Albertsons/Associate Warehouse Grocer he retired. He was a hard worker and determined to finish whatever he started. He was a man of his word - if he said he was going to do something - he did. His yay was yay and his nay was nay. He never apologized for being an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
"Warren" was born in Monroe, Louisiana to the parents of James Davis Warren and Mae Ella Hendricks. He married his confidante Annie E. Warren in 1983 and later moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth metro-plex.
Survivors include wife, Annie, daughters, Danielle Dickson & Melody Warren, sisters, Elder Linda Sharpe, (Clarence), Debra Wright, (Steve). Four Step-brothers; James Capers, Glenroy Capers, William Capers, George Capers. Three grandchildren, Jasmine Vardamin, Andre Erving and Harmony Magee.
"Warren" was welcomed to his eternal home by his parents, a son Howard, sisters Edna and Sherry, brothers James D., (Sonny), Rivers, (RL), Raymond and step-father W. L. Capers.
A visitation for Melvin will be held on Thursday, February 18th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in the Gumpy Moore Stateroom at Moore Funeral Home on Davis Road in Arlington, Texas. A funeral service will occur on Friday, February 19th at 10:00am in the South Chapel of Moore Funeral Home on Davis Road in Arlington, Texas.

"The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all his troubles. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." Psalms 34: 17-18.
