Melba Sue McMahon

Melba Sue (Susie) McMahon of Arlington, Texas, passed away on January 7, 2023 at the age of 89. Susie was born in Earlsboro, Oklahoma on August 18, 1933 to E.J. Kemplin and Effie L. Collins She moved with her family to Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 8 where she graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1951 and was voted Posture Queen.

Susie married Nolan Ray McMahon on June 21, 1975 and they spent many years vacationing in Colorado in their RV and spending time with family. She had a career in Accounting for Austin Bridge & Road for 20 years.

Susie gave her heart to Jesus at the age of 12 and was a faithful member of Tate Springs Baptist Church serving as Sunday school secretary starting in 1999.

Susie is survived by her husband Nolan, daughters Carolyn Downing and Dana Williams (Andy).

Grandchildren: Suzanne Young (Steven), Christy McGraw (Jason), Colin Downing, Becca Downing, Hannah Bryant (Travis).

6 Great Grandchildren and one sister Norma Jean Meacham.
