He was born in Arlington, TX on October 25, 2000. Max graduated from Martin High School (Arlington, TX) in 2019. While in school Max enjoyed attending the Arlington ISD orchestra and archery programs. After graduation, he participated in a variety of industrial (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.) training programs. His last and most fulfilling job was at the Sunny Delight plant in Sherman, TX, where he made many good friends.
Max was an avid outdoorsman who loved Boy Scouts, camping, hunting, gardening, fossil hunting, and especially fishing. He loved animals from an early age and lived to rescue lost pets.
Max was extremely creative with a gregarious personality and infectious sense of humor. His big personality and intense feelings earned him the nickname, "Maximum Davis".
Max enjoyed being the family handyman, eager to lend a hand to others no matter the task. He was often creating inventions to make the lives of others easier. He wrote "l do whatever it takes to take care of those I love."
Max, along with his family, are members of Rush Creek Church where he enjoyed serving others through the coffee bar ministry, the Nehemiah Project, and also as a greeter. He possessed a true servant heart. He was always humble and cared deeply about his impact on others.
Although Maxwell will be missed by family, friends, and coworkers, we rejoice that he has gone home to be with his Heavenly Father. Max never forgot that he was a child of Christ and surrounded himself with scripture as a reminder of the man he aspired to be.
Maxwell Sheridan Davis is survived by his parents, Thomas and Traci Davis, grandmother, Lois Bauer, grandmother, Mary Hazelwood, brother, Thomas Davis IV (Sandra), along with a niece, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends who loved him deeply.
A celebration of life service will be held at Rush Creek Church, 2350 SW Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, TX, 76017 on May 30, 2023 at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers Max's family requests that donations be made to Rush Creek Green Oaks Compassion Center (food pantry), Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, or your local animal shelter of choice.
