Mary Ann O'Banion, 72, went home to be with her Lord after a short, but courageous, battle with cancer on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, just in time to be with Elvis to help him celebrate his 80th birthday in heaven.
Memorial service: 4 p.m. Tuesday in Moore Funeral Home, South Chapel.
She had recently retired from Tarrant Appraisal District after nearly 30 years of being the quality control supervisor.
She is to be laid to rest beside her parents Roy and Inez Johnson on the side of a beautiful mountain in Durango, Colo.
Survivors: Her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Cindy O'Banion of Arlington, Patrick and Linda O'Banion of Cedar Hill, Kelly and Tabitha O'Banion of Crowley, Donny and Kelli O'Banion of Burleson, sister and brother in law Patsy and Benny Basham of Colorado; grandchildren, Bobby, Megan, Kevin, Ashlyn, Alexa, Jordan, and last but not least, Riley; stepgrandchildren, Mallorey, Logan and Corrinne; stepgreat-grandson, Braydon; as well as many other friends and family. She will be greatly missed.
