Mary Beth Dunn

Mary Beth Lowe Dunn, 79, was born to Sylvester and Thelma Lowe, on March 11, 1940. She was raised and attended school in Joaquin, Texas. As a young schoolgirl she enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball, but as an adult she found joy in playing co-ed softball. Mary moved to Arlington to go to work and spent 30+ years working as a computer programmer for Menasco Industries. Mary married her husband Ray Edwin Dunn on July 3, 1959 in Grand Prairie, Texas and together they raised two daughters, Kim and Angela. Mary and Ray spent many weekends fishing and hunting at their farm in Meridian, Texas. After retirement, she relocated to Burleson Texas and began a successful second career buying and selling collectible glass, crystal, china, and various other antiques. She was quite adept in researching pieces, names and other determining marks. She really had quite an eye for sought after collectibles. Mary was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed cooking for her family. Mary had a lifelong love of Elvis Presley and the color pink. Mary was a staunchly independent woman but deeply loved her family, especially her grandkids. Mary was surrounded by her children and grandchildren at the time of her passing.

Mary was Preceded in death by her parents Thelma Aileen Walker Lowe and Sylvester E. Lowe, her husband Ray Edwin Dunn, her sister Sylvia Sue Lowe Morrison; her brothers Clifford Lowe and Richard A. Lowe and sister-in-law Margaret Alexander Lowe.

Survivors of Mary Dunn include Daughters Kimberlea Michelle Dunn Peppercorn and her husband Mike of Trinity, Texas and Angela Beth Dunn Roessler and her husband Billy of Gainesville, Texas; six grandchildren including Corey Tibbets and wife Karington, John Peppercorn and wife Courtney, Garrett Rogers, Tate Power and husband Jace, Savannah Roessler and Denton Roessler; and 3 great-grandchildren, Kenna, Jayci, and Cullen. Remaining siblings include Kenneth Lowe, Jerry Lowe, Edward Lowe and wife Glenda, sister-in-law Adeane Lowe, and Merle Howard and husband John.
