Mary Alice Burnham

Mary Alice Burnham was born on August 2, 1921 in Sanger, TX and passed from this life on August 6 in Plano. She was raised in Wheatland and graduated from Lancaster High School. Mary worked as a secretary for eighteen years after attending Cozzens Secretarial School. She was married to Hoyt Burnham for 58 years until his death in 2000. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed reading her Bible.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Leona Lowe and her son David Burnham. Survivors include her daughter Anita Peterson; grandsons and their wives Greg and Donelle Chandler of Carrollton and Kyle and Misty Chandler of Mansfield; granddaughter Tina Williams; niece and her husband Linda and Dr. Jerald Vinson of College Station; nephew and his wife Ron and Sara Lowe of Abernathy; great-grandchildren Clay, Garrett and Jara Chandler, and great-great-grandson Cade Chandler.

The family will have a viewing at 9:00 followed by a graveside service at 10:00 at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington.
