Mary Waunita Barron

Waunita was born on January 13th, 1941 to J.D. and Pauline Vest of Louisville, KY. She was raised by Christian parents and came to know Christ as a child. After graduating from Garland High School, Waunita attended Bob Jones University where she studied Elementary Education and met her husband, James A. Barron.

On July 15, 1961, Jim and Waunita were married and went on to have three children, Jim Jr., Patti and Susan.

Waunita was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She loved her children dearly and loved teaching. She taught in public school, private school, Sunday school, and Bible school. She had a special place in her heart for teachers and students.
