Marla Lynn Sloan

Family was always the focus of Marla’s life. She was devoted to her loving husband, Richard Sloan for 43 years. She is remembered for the arts and crafts she shared with her children and grandchildren. She loved to make all holidays and gatherings memorable for everyone especially the grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and sister Nancy Fereday. She is survived by her husband, Richard D. Sloan; her mother Betty Sue Fereday; sons Dustin Lyn Sloan (Kristen) and Dean T. Sloan (Misty); sister Sharon Fereday; grandchildren Marian, Keiran, Jolette, Everett, Nikki, Angie, Cindy, Anthony and Nathan; as well as one great-grandchild, Eliza.

Visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012, on Thursday, June 20, from 6-8. Funeral Mass will be at St. Williams Catholic Church, 311 Union St, Montague, TX 76251 on Friday, June 21, 2019, at 11:00. Burial will follow in Montague Catholic Cemetery on Catholic Cemetery Rd, Montague, TX, 76251.
