Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at St. Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church, 1110 John McCain Road, Colleyville 76034, followed by the interment in Moore Memorial Gardens.
Marie moved to Texas in 2011 with her late husband to be near her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. She was a devoted homemaker, a good Christian and regular church-goer. She was known for her gourmet cooking and entertaining. She loved reading French novels, Julia Child's cooking, shopping, traveling and listening to music.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bush Guirguis, and parents, B. and Mehani Sourial.
Survivors: Her children, Suzi Bishara and husband, Amin T., Matt Guirguis and wife, Denise, Maggie Parker and husband, Kenneth; grandchildren, James "Jimmy" Bishara and Robert "Bobby" Bishara. She is also survived by her sisters, Emilie Deyab, Laila Sourial, Janet Sami; and younger brother, Magdi Saad. Marie will be greatly missed in our lives.
