Margery Harrand

She was born in Poughkeepsie NY on January 31, 1944 to Doris Hines and Samuel W. Taylor. After graduating from Arlington High School (NY), she attended the Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in Troy NY, from which she graduated in 1967.

She was married to her high school sweetheart, Paul M. Harrand in 1966, with whom she raised 2 daughters. Marge was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Arlington TX, the Arlington Gem & Mineral Club, Friends of the Public Library and supported countless organizations for animals & community and activities for her children & grandchildren.

She had a passion for animals, plants, garage sales and friendships, some spanning decades.

She is preceded in death by her husband and love of her life. She is survived by her daughters, Victoria McKinney and Patricia (and Richard) Wood, her grandchildren Stephanie (and Nathan) Crowley, Cody McKinney and Hannah Wood, and her great grandchild Olivia Crowley.

Funeral arrangements will be held at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N Davis, Arlington TX at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 24 with visitation at noon.
