I love you and miss you grandma.  I still remember the first time meeting you like it was yesterday. That to me was a great and beautiful time.. Even if our time together were few they are unforgettable and forever in my heart .  

i’m currently shaking as i prepare to write this. i feel like a train of emotions hit me. writing this doesn’t come easy, but i’ve had time to breathe and think about what i want to say.

in this life time i got to see my future self for 2 decades. i got to see myself age and grow old blissfully. i got to see how i love and how i care for family. i got to see how i will hold family together above all else. i experienced seeing my future self live right before my eyes. YOU. i am you. you were my future and i am yours. forever. always. i am yours. i see so much of you in myself and who i am becoming. you taught me so much. i will cherish every memory i have with you. i see you today in the stars, in the morning skies, and in my dreams. i don’t think i’ll ever stop thinking about you. i feel you in the sun that warms my skin, the breeze that cools me off, and the raindrops that kiss my face. you are everywhere around me. i love you so much. i love you endlessly. i would’ve moved mountains to get to you. my love for you is so deep that no ocean can compare. i would’ve gladly taken years off my life to give to you. i would sacrifice it all to see you one more time. what i would do for one of your forehead kisses right about now.. you loved my hair and played with it every chance you got. i will miss you running your fingers through every knot. i miss you. my heart hasn’t felt the same since you left, but i will get better and i will be strong for YOU. you were my human. whatever our souls were made of, yours and mine were the same. i was destined to be with you. you are my world. god couldn’t wait to meet you, you were an angel walking on earth. fly high my love. please watch over me and guide me through this life till i can meet with you again. i know you’re not gone and you’re not far. i love you my sweet angel. i know you’re happy and pain free. you gave all of us so much love and strength. ❤️ I’ll see you soon, keep my spot warm. 

My heart is heavy that you’re not here with us anymore but I will always remember you as the rock and cornerstone of our family. 
I’m so thankful I was able to live with and look after you during the last year of your life. I hated seeing you in pain. But my heart is at peace knowing that you’re celebrating eternity with the Lord. 
What a wonderful feeling. I know you’re at peace and that’s all that matters. You did more than enough and beyond for this family. 
I’m so sad there’s no more “Mais house” but your memory will live on forever. 
It was my favorite place to go every time I was hungry because sin falta, you cooked every single day. It was better than any restaurant because your food was always made with love. 
You dedicated your life to serving this family and we couldn’t be more grateful. 
When you got sick, the tables turned and it was our turn to take care of you. 
I’m so proud and honored to be your grand child. You are, were, and always will be an amazing woman that made us laugh with you yelling at novelas. Lol 
We love and miss you so much. I could say so much more but I’d be here for days.

Hello, I work virtually with Jorge for the Department of Veterans Affairs.  He is an incredible human and I believe his sweet mama obviously taught him well.  Condolences to all of you and may God's own peace flood your hearts right now.  Prayers for all of you.

Solo quiero tomar un momento para reflexionar sobre mi vieja querida. A quien voy a extrañar profundamente. Ella fue una madre ejemplar, luchadora, que hizo todo lo que pudo para darle lo mejor a todos sus hijos, y nietos, a tiempos un poco de alcahueta con algunos de nosotros. Siempre le gusto ser independiente y no depender de nadie. Me enseñó que uno tiene que trabajar duro, si uno quiere superarse en esta vida. Fue una mujer fuerte, con una vida difícil, fueron pocas las veces que se quejaba. Disfrutaba la cocina, y tener su casa llena con todos sus hijos y nietos. Esto era una rutina que aunque yo no estaba muy de acuerdo, entendía que era lo que ella disfrutaba. Recuerdo que varias veces le pregunté si quería vivir con migó y siempre me daba la misma respuesta, que ella le gustaba vivir sola en su casa. A pesar de tener tantos achaques con su salud, siempre mantuvo un buen sentido de humor. Se levantó hasta el último momento, a pesar del fuerte dolor que estaba pasando. Se que ella está en un mejor lugar en estos momentos, sin dolor y disfrutando de una vida eterna. Pero no a sido fácil. Ella fue un ángel para todos los que tuvieron la dicha de haberla conocida aquí en la tierra y ahora nos protegerá desde el cielo. Siempre la voy a llevar en mi corazón y la extrañare hasta que nos volvamos a vernos. Te quiero mucho mi vieja 💕🙏. Dios solo te pido que la recibas en tu reino, como el Ángel que fue aquí en la tierra y me des la fuerza a salir a delante después de esta separación. Amén
