Lucio Roberto Salazar

Robert attended Texas A&M University in Kingsville, Texas. He worked at Payless Shoes as an Internal Auditor for 25 years, and later worked for Pacific Architects and Engineers as a Contractor Supervisor for the Application Support Center during his remaining years.

Robert was a member of Tate Springs Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Arlington for many years. He loved the family cat, Boston, very much. He enjoyed playing golf in his spare time, and practiced chipping and putting in the back yard and living room on many occasions.

Robert is survived by his former wife, Leslie Salazar; his children, Erik and Diana Salazar; his grandchildren, Taylor and Cannon Talkington; and his brother, Rogelio Salazar.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Silberia Marie Salazar; his late wife, Ernestina Salazar; and his siblings: Salvador, Samuel, Ceferino, Santos, Noe and Socorro Suarez.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11am on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ in Arlington, Texas.
