Louise Grace Jeffers Nelson

Louise G. Nelson, 91, formerly of Arlington, TX passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 in Mansfield. Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, July 1, 2016 at Moore Funeral Home.

Louise Grace Jeffers was born March 31, 1925 in Washington, DC to Alvin Jeffers and Anna Mueller Jeffers. She spent her childhood in Washington DC where she graduated from Eastern High School. Louise married John B. Nelson on March 25, 1944 in Washington, DC. She was a homemaker, member of the Newcomers Club and Bridge Clubs. She had a passion for family, camping, traveling, and playing bridge with her friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, John B. Nelson on December 22, 2013.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by two sons, Lawrence “Larry” Nelson and his wife Linda, and Steve Nelson and his wife Cheryl, four grandchildren, Jennefer and Alex Nelson, Michael Austin, and Michelle Lee, and eight great-grandchildren.
