Lori was born May 14, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio, and was christened Loretta Ann Doyle by her parents, Therese Marie “Terry” Doyle [RIP] and James E. Doyle, M.D. She was third of five children and she graduated from Nolan High School in 1979, where she was cheerleader all four years, played basketball, volleyball and softball, and was elected freshman sweetheart, and best legs and eyes her senior year.
She was a natural athlete, proficient swimmer, diver and horseback riding. She was one of the friendliest people you’d ever meet and had a soft spot for children and elderly folk. She could make anybody laugh, and was sharp as a tack. Lori went to University of Texas at Arlington and cosmetology school. She loved greeting and entertaining people and being around a lot of activity and groups. Lori worked for a printing press for about a year and then moved on to restaurants, Jason’s Deli being the most recent.
Lori loved animals and had three dogs of her own. She had a strong, vibrant, infectious energy that could ignite the atmosphere, and a smile and sense of humor that would brighten everyone’s day. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings and father, and so dearly missed. The world is a better place for her having lived and her death is a terrible loss to us all. Lori now has her wings and soars with the angels above, and if you could see, she will be challenging them to do flips and twirls, adding that necessary kick that Lori thrived on. We celebrate Lori being in God’s loving arms and her arrival into heaven.
Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Therese Marie “Terry” Doyle.
