Linda A. Sexton

Linda Ann Sexton, age 75, passed away on November 24, 2023 at home with her husband of 57 years, Robert Sexton. She was born in Ft Worth, TX, to the late Sonny and Dot Kirkpatrick. She was the oldest of three children. She was a precious lady and departed this world leaving with us a legacy of love and a void in our hearts that can never be filled. She will be missed by all that knew her.

After graduating from Sam Houston High School in Arlington, TX, Linda met the love of her life, Robert Sexton, and they married on July 1st, 1966. They loved living in Germany while Robert proudly served in the US Army. They have two daughters, Windee Geyerman and Stormye Britton.

Linda worked for many years at the Credit Bureau and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Arlington, TX.

Linda loved music and traveling, but her greatest love was her grandchildren, Sydnee Geyerman, Paige Geyerman and Ava Britton. Sydnee and Paige are both alumni of Texas A&M University in College Station, where she loved to visit them. She was so excited for Ava who had recently been accepted to Oklahoma State University and could hardly wait to take a road trip to Stillwater.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Sonny and Dorothy Kirkpatrick, sibling Pat Kirkpatrick, sisters-in-law Ann Kirkpatrick and Marsha Kirkpatrick, and nephews Bo Kirkpatrick and Kyle Kirkpatrick.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Sexton; children, Windee Geyerman and husband John of Mansfield, TX, and Stormye Britton of Mansfield, TX; grandchildren, Sydnee Geyerman, Paige Geyerman and Ava Britton; her brother, Mike Kirkpatrick; sisters-in-law, Dee Pruitt and Doris Mitchell, and many nieces and nephews.
