Letecia E. DeVille

Letecia was born on October 24, 1957, in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Raul Mendez & Celia E. Mendez. Letecia graduated from Haltom High School in Haltom City, Texas. Letecia worked in Administration for various employers throughout her career.

She loved spending time with her daughter, Megan, their furbaby, Stella, and loved ones. She had a hobby of collecting antiques and gardening. Letecia professed her life to Christ at the Homegoing of her mother, Celia E. Mendez.

She always had a way of making everyone feel loved and special. She knew no strangers, everywhere she would go she lit up the room. She loved sharing moments with family and friends, laughing, joking around, and always wearing a beautiful smile on her face, no matter what she was going through. She was a loving and caring person, devoted mother, sister, aunt, and friend, always thinking of others first. “To know her was to love her.”

Letecia leaves to cherish her loving memory to her siblings: Eva Gamez, Rachel Nunamaker, Richard Mendez, Graciela Escobedo Mendez, Ruben Mendez, a host of nieces and nephews, and Mike DeVille, the father of Megan.

A memorial service for Letecia and Megan DeVille will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016.
