Lenna Thomas

Celebration of life: 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Moore Funeral Home. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Moore Funeral Home.

Lenna graduated from Richardson High School in 1943. She was a longtime member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and served 30 years as the third-grade Sunday school teacher. She was also a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. She and her late husband, Joe Grady, shared a love of music and were blessed with many longtime friends.

She was preceded in death by devoted husband of 60 years, Joe Grady Thomas; and two brothers, Richard and Gerald Coleman.

Survivors: Daughter, Jo Lynn Glanden and husband, Don; twin sons, Kelly Thomas and wife, Becky, and Laurance Thomas and wife, Kathy; 7 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren; 4 sisters Shirley Ryan, Elizabeth Parkin, Margaret Korver and Elaine Kurtz;and brother, Merle Soule.
