Lawrence Earl Fisher

Larry "Lawrence" Fisher, 84, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. His relentless commitment to his career, community, church and family will never be forgotten. Larry was born on December 18, 1936 in Baton Rouge, LA along with his younger brother Danny Fisher. He married Pat (Hazel Patricia) Fisher at the age of 25 and lived happily with her for over 55 years. After attending Louisiana State University and serving in the United States Army, he began his career at IBM. During that time he and Pat raised three children (Scot, Paul and Eric), and he retired after 25 years of dedicated service. After retirement, he enjoyed playing golf with his sons and long time friends and loved their vacations to his favorite beaches on the gulf coast of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents Larry and Edna Fisher and son, Scot.

Survivors: Sons, Paul and Eric Fisher; and nephew Mark Fisher.

Funeral Mass: Friday, July 30, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A celebration of life luncheon to follow mass at Fr. Jim Miller Hall (adjacent to church). Inurnment and Military Honors will be at 3:00pm at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.
