He graduated from Essex Catholic in Newark and later worked for a newspaper doing photography. He spent summers on the Jersey Shore and also loved vacationing in Florida.
He married Maureen Dino of New Jersey, who he called Maggie, in 1971 and they later moved to Texas to be closer to her parents. They had 4 children and although they divorced, remained close. He sold typewriters and computers for a short time until he opened up a sandwich shop, Dino's Subs, in 1980. He was a successful business owner and excelled in anything he put his heart and mind to. He loved cars, Cadillacs in particular, he liked to think he could golf but he earned the nickname "kerplunk" for a reason, and he loved to cook.
He was preceded in death by his son, Todd Lawrence Dino and his parents, Charles and Genrose Dino. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Katie Dino, Taryn Dino Bird and husband, Jay, and Jade Nicole Dino and husband Eugene Boyland all of Arlington. He was called "Pop-Pop" to his one and only grandson, Dominic (10) and beautiful granddaughter, Mia (8). Further survived by his Aunt, Josephine Costa, brother, Joseph Dino, his nephews, Christopher and Jonathan Dino and niece, Alexandra Dino and many other relatives and friends.
You will be missed tremendously here on earth. Until we meet again.
Visitation will be Monday, January 20th from 7-9pm at Moore Funeral Home and Services will be Tuesday, January 21st at 1:00pm at St Maria Goretti Catholic Church
