Latoya Renee Johnson

in a car accident on August 9, 2019 in Mesquite, Texas.

She is survived by her parents, her child Gregory Lamar Porter,

her sister Cathryn Johnson, her brothers Richard Johnson Jr. and

Gerard M. Marioneaux Jr.. She is predeceased by her daughter

Mya Johnson.

Latoya Johnson was born in San Diego, CA. on February 11th

1988. She attended Timberview High School in Mansfield, TX.

On March 1st 2007 and October 28th 2008, and July 20th 2018

respectfully she welcomed into the world her son Gregory Lamar

Porter, daughter Mya Johnson and son Marciano Johnson. Who

were most the important parts of her life.

Latoya was a devoted and protective mother who lived her life in

a fearless and unapologetic way. Friends were important to her

and she moved in and out of these circles with an “Alpha Dog”

swagger. She can be fiercely loyal and protective, and not afraid of

confrontation however she can be silly and carefree, with a

disarming smile and her trademark laugh. She will be deeply

missed by friends, family and all who knew her.
