ARLINGTON -- Julie Ann Maroof, 49, passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, after a four-year battle with interstitial lung disease/pulmonary fibrosis.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home. A private burial service will be held in Green Mountain Falls, Colo.
Julie was born in El Paso on June 18, 1963. She went to Arlington schools and graduated from Lamar High School in 1981. She also attended Tarrant County Junior College. She was previously employed by Southwest Airlines for 10 years.
Julie was preceded in death by her father, Joe Maroof; grandparents, Eleanor J. Maurer, and Joseph and Helen Maroof.
Survivors: Julie is survived by her mother, Jackie Maroof; sister, Misha Pfaff and husband ,Scott; nieces, Samantha and Natalie; and nephew, Jake. In lieu of flowers, please send poinsettia for the family to deliver to the Salvation Army at a later date.
