Judy was born on September 24, 1941, in Aurora, Illinois to the late Chester and SaVera ( Kucharski) Holdren. She attended Our Lady of Good Counsel and Madonna High School. Judy was united in marriage to the late Robert Roy Grubb on October 5, 1963.
Judy was the matriarch of our family. She will always be remembered for her kindness, humor and the love she shared as a mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend. Life will never be the same because part of us went with her. Judy will be deeply missed by all those that she has touched.
Judy is survived by her loving daughters, Lisa (John) Avery and Kari (Rick) Heiser; Ben Jones; her grandchildren, Sarah Moore, Jessica (Carlo) Lozano, Jordan and Joshua Avery, Jacob (Gabriela) Heiser, Natalee and Karlee Heiser; great-grandchildren, Brynna, Lanah, Molly and James Moore, Isabel, Mia and Archer Lozano; brother-in-law, Gary VanBroeck, and several nieces and nephews.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Steven John Grubb; grandson Austin Robert Heiser; sisters Mary Wild and Carlotta VanBroeck; brother John Holdren and brother-in-law Fred Wild.
A Celebration of Life will be held on
Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home.
Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 to 5:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 4:00 pm.
