Joyce Annette Hampton

Annette was born Oct 26th, 1942 in Ft. Worth, TX. She married James Hampton Sept 18th 1959. They were happily married for 54 years until James death in 2014.

Annette was a homemaker and a school bus driver for the Mansfield, ISD.

Annette loved the Lord, loved her family and loved to laugh. She worked hard taking care of her family but she loved every minute of it. She always had an open door to anyone that needed or wanted a place to stay. She took care of so many people and she did it with gladness in her heart. She never complained and was always grateful that she could help anyone in need. She was especially fond of babies and would hold and rock a crying or fussing baby with gentleness and patience like they were her own. We find comfort in knowing that our parents are together again in the hands of our Lord.

Annette was preceded in death by her husband James Hampton, her parents Andrew and Idena, her daughter Regina Kay and her grand daughter Reagan Anne, Her Brothers Jimmy, Don, Edgar and Sister Betty.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Russell and husband, Johnny, Virginia Santillan and husband, Dimas, Glenda Peugh, Carla Luig and husband, Brian, Jamie Salas, grandchildren, Danny, Corey, Ashley, Andrew, Preston, Claire, Kelcey, Paxton, Cheyenne, Colten, Shelby, Melissa, Alecea and Luis Jr.; great grandchildren, Noah, Kennedy, Ruby and Scarlet; sister Laura Earlene Gordon Guel, half sister Ruthie Mae Gordon Day, and half brother Tommy Melton Gordon.
