Jose Antonio Torres-Nieves

Jose Torres was born on June 5, 1944 in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico to Nicolas Torres and Carmela Nieves. He enlisted in the Army - March 4, 1966. He served overseas in France, Germany, Korea, and returned to the United States and remained on active duty assigned to Fort Hood, Texas.

Mr. Torres retired from military service after 23 years as a Master Sergeant. After living in Texas for several years, he moved to Orlando, Florida.

Mr. Torres passed away on Thursday June 25, 2020 at home surrounded by loved ones. He leaves behind his children, a daughter - Denilda Rodriguez, and his son - Jose A Torres Jr., grandchildren: Gabriel Rodriguez, Krizia Rodrigez, Lisandra Munoz, Angel Jovanni Torres. Great-grandchildren: Kaylie Rodriguez, Kenziel DeLaCruz, Gabriel Rodriguez II, Kayliana Garcia, Malachi Munoz, Katalina Rodriguez, as well as numerous family members and friends.

Mr. Torres was cremated at the Grace Memorial Gardens in Hudson, Florida and was transported to Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas for Memorial service. Final resting place. Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Torres will forever be honored and missed by his family and friends.
