John Everett Bowden

Funeral: Noon Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home-Bowen Chapel.

Interment: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

John was born March 19, 1937, in Chincoteague, Va. He was the oldest of seven children. John served eight years in the Air Force. He also worked 22 years for LTV, 12 years for Pep Boys and was a volunteer Boy Scout for over 14 years.

Survivors: Loving wife of 52 years, Katherine; children, Dena Glover (Matt), Kimberly Adams, Curtis Bowden (Chellie) and Teresa Stimson (Paul); 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
