He was taken suddenly from this world doing what he loved in Dallas on December 21, 2017.
Javier was the eldest of two sons conceived by Vilma Del Valle Olmos and Hector Ramirez.
He received his high school diploma from South Grand Prairie High School in 2006. He received a few credits from Mountain View College. While working as a dedicated employee to the City of Grand Prairie, he moved quickly through the ranks from lifeguard, to pool manager, to water service technician, and finally Water Systems Operator. He received multiple awards while employed through the City of Grand Prairie for great customer service and for being one of three men to repair a water main in freezing weather. In 2016, he took a position at Martin-Marietta to drive a cement truck in which he was last employed.
On January 1st, 2013 Javier proposed to his beautiful wife, Alisha Ann Ramirez, and married her on April 13th, 2013 in his home town Grand Prairie, TX. Knowing each other since the age of 16 as lifeguards and swim instructors, they immediately picked up from a strong friendship they shared and built a deeper relationship which eventually led to love.
He was a man who did what he wanted, how he wanted, and when he wanted in order to make sure his life was worth living. Nothing held Javier back from his goals and aspirations—even if it meant he would go at it alone. Javier would have something planned in his mind and he would stop at nothing to make sure it was attained. Javier accomplished everything he dreamed. His biggest dream was to start a family and bring beautiful children into this world, and he did just that. Javier was a loving father to his step-daughter Shelly Bridwell, his son Jayce Hayden Ramirez, and his daughter Hailey Ilana Ramirez. He had love for each of them and would stop at nothing to give them the best life he could possibly give.
Javier was a fun-loving husband, father, and friend. His joyful and affectious personality knew no boundaries. Javier would constantly play, joke, and humor anyone and at any time. He would admit that he loved to push Alisha’s buttons just to see her mad face. If you were having a bad day, just spending a few moments with Javier would put a smile on your face.
He was a man of many talents, and one of which was that he could drive almost anything. Besides driving ordinary cars and trucks, he was experienced in driving cement trucks, dump trucks, and even a backhoe. Above all else, Javier loved motorcycles. You could often find him in his garage with friends working on a bike, or out riding around Dallas and Fort Worth with many other friends.
Javier’s greatest talent was being a friend to all. Javier never knew a stranger. Being the outgoing person we loved, he would talk to anyone and make them feel as if they were family. He invested time in people in order to build a lasting relationship, and he would continue to keep contact on almost a daily basis. You had to do something truly heart hurting to lose his trust and friendship, as his heart always had room to forgive. He was always up for a good prank, or to do something just to make others laugh. He was known for his horse head face mask antics, his quick one liner jokes, and his infamous snapchat videos. Javier Hector Ramirez can never be replaced, but surely will never be forgotten.
His memory shall live on through each and every life he touched.
