Loving wife and mother

Saturday, March 11, 2023, Janet Kathryn Bordovsky passed away peacefully at the age of 76. Janet was born on September 14, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Arthur and Katharyn Sluyter. She grew up in Tulsa along with her three sisters, Suzanne, Betsey and Christy and brother, Gary. She married Robert Dean Bordovsky on June 10th, 1967. They would raise three sons, Brent, Jared and Brian, and one daughter, Jill.

Janet was a kind and caring mother, friend, and volunteer. She was strong in her faith and always thinking of others. She enjoyed arts and craft activities such as cross stitching, sewing, quilting, decorating her house and scrapbooking. She liked traveling and the new experiences it provided. Taking photos of her children and grandchildren was a constant pastime.

Janet was preceded in death by her father Arthur, mother Katharyn and sister Suzanne Cluff. She is survived by her husband Robert, her four children, Brent (wife Renee), Jill (husband Daniel) Marler, Jared (wife Elizabeth) and Brian (wife Nikale), her four grandchildren, Adam, Ella, Reid and Barron, her brother Gary and sisters Betsey Owen and Christy Thorpe.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 16th, 2023 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on 2100 North Davis Drive in Arlington at 11:00 am. Family and friends may pay their final respect from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church.

The family asks for any donations to go to the American Cancer Society.
