Jane D. Bradshaw passed away Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home-Bowen Chapel. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington.
Jane graduated from Barnard College in 1943. During her senior year, she attended the NYU College of Engineering on a Chance Vought scholarship. Upon graduation, she went to work for Chance Vought and did design work on the F4U Corsair World War II carrier-based fighter.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan, and her husband of 56 years, D.H. Bradshaw Jr.
Survivors: Daughters, Gretchen Yates and husband, Alan, and Robin Leonard and husband, Damian, and daughters Avery and Ayden; and sister, Cheryl Albert of Freedom, Calif.
