Aunt Jo, Terri, Tony, Ann and grandchildren.  We all are going to miss Uncle Jim and Im very proud to have him as my uncle.  You have many years of memories in your hearts.  Think of them often and Cherish the many years you had him. What a great and kind man he was.  We love you very much, Barbara and Brandon.

I was one of James Cody's "kids", too, at Central Christian.  I remember the haunted houses (sometimes he enlisted Russ to help) and his tiny cars.  My favorite memory is a trip to Six Flags where three of us rode with him in that little car.  Once there, two of us and James Cody rode the Runaway Mine Train together.  For some reason, he was holding our sack lunches for us and those poor sandwiches didn't survive that ride!  I will always remember James Cody as a dear, sweet man who was devoted to his youth group.  We were so lucky to have had him, not only as our leader, but our friend. My most sincere condolences to all of his family.

He was our youth director at CCC,He was so fun,we would have parties at his house.  He would dress up like a vampire on Halloween and take us riding in his little green convertible car.  He was always at church camp with us at Mineral Wells lake. We couldn't have asked for a bettor mentor in our young christian lives. My prayers to the family and always remember the good christian father you were blessed to have.

I had lost track of this special man.  We were members of Central Christian in Weatherford and I always looked up to him as a Christian example with a positive attitude and a smile on his face.  God will say of him, "Well done, good and faithful servant".

James Cody White was my Sunday School teacher at the Central Christian Church in Weatherford during the 1960s. He was kind and generous man. He loved children and seemed to relate to us as human beings. He talked with us rather than to us. He felt it was important for us to have fun and often took us to amusement parks where he rode all the rides himself. I felt a fatherly bond from him and I was disappointed when he left Weatherford. All in all, I was fortunate to have known him.

Praying for Ann, Terri, Jo & Tony and the other family members. So sorry for your loss. Jim was such a wonderful man & I am truly grateful that I got the chance to know him when He was at Fairview Baptist in Grand Prairie. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

I will never forget James Cody White as my youth minister as a youth/teen in Weatherford at Central Christian Church.  He was a bright light for all of us there and full of fun and energy.  I have thought of him often and know I will see him again one day.  Prayers to the family with your loss.

Terri, Ann, and Jo, I know how much you three ladies loved your sweet Jim.  I enjoyed hearing many family stories shared about Jim & Jo while working at Terri's office. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
