Jackie Bundy

Jackie McKinney Bundy passed away August 17, 2018 after a brief illness in Arlington, TX. Her graveside service will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Fort Worth, TX, on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11:00 am. Friends and family are welcome to attend.

Jackie was born November 24, 1923 in Minden, LA. She was 94 years old.

Jackie is survived by her husband, William T. Bundy, Jr. of Arlington and three nieces, Patty McKinney Pendergrass of Minden, LA, Kim McKinney Bickham of Shreveport, LA, and Jody McKinney Baker of Minden, LA, and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, David Clint and Gladys McKinney, her brothers, George and Robert McKinney, and sister-in-laws, Jo Ann Bryan McKinney and Jean Stack McKinney.

As a young adult, Jackie’s professional career was primarily with the Soil Conservation Service and the Army Corps of Engineers. She later held part-time bookkeeping and clerical jobs and served as a volunteer for various organizations. She enjoyed being a homemaker most of all and accompanying Bill with his hobby activities until she was unable.

She lived her last days at Heritage Oaks Nursing Home in Arlington, TX. The family thanks the staff at Heritage Oaks and the staff at Arlington Memorial where she passed away. Jackie was a member of First United Methodist Church, Arlington, TX.
