Helen Lundy Boyd

Funeral Service: 3 p.m. Thursday, July 22, at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, 76012. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home. Interment: A private family graveside will take place at Moore Memorial Gardens.

Helen was born April 18, 1927 in Rumford, Maine to Norman and Elizabeth Lundy. She married the love of her life, Lee L. Boyd, and they spent over 60 happy years together until his passing in 2008. Helen loved bird watching, researching her genealogy, catalog shopping, watching old classic movies and was also a collector of fine toothpick holders. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Elizabeth Lundy; husband, Lee L. Boyd; sisters, Hazel Lundy and Dede Scammon; grandson, Stephen Espedal; and granddaughter, Tracy Boyd.

Survivors: children, Justin Boyd and Lundra Boyd-Klish; grandchildren, Lloyd Boyd, Rachel Hodges, Heather Boyd, and Tim McCrocklin; 16 great-grandchildren; great great-grandchildren, James Norris, Jr. and Ganden Boyd; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
