ARLINGTON -- Harold A. Kunkle, 81, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010.
Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home.
Harold was a great husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather; a man of few words; and a man who was always there when needed. He always provided for his family by working hard and living a great life. Harold worked at Lockheed Martin many years as an engineer before retiring with his wife of 61 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Norma Kunkel of Temple.
Survivors: Wife, Dorothy Kunkel; daughters, Brenda Horton (Jim) of Arlington and Kathy Van Slice of Plano; sisters, Janice Brown (Gene) of Houston and Marcia Lee Furl (Lloyd D.) of Temple; grandchildren, Colby Horton (Cheryl) of Mansfield and Amy Whitehead (Clifford) of Indianapolis, Ind.; and great-grandchildren, Julia and Emma Horton of Mansfield.
