Service: 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Moore Funeral Chapel on Davis Drive in Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home.

Harold was born to Harold Louis Hill Sr. and Mary Robinson Hill on Aug. 13, 1929, in Fort Worth. He graduated from Polytechnic High School and was president and valedictorian of his '47 senior class. He graduated with honors from Texas Wesleyan University. He retired from Texas Electric (now TXU) after 39 1/2 years as internal audit director and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Harold married his high school sweetheart, Helen Bedford, on Aug. 18, 1950. They had two sons. He was known for his quiet and gentle demeanor. He always maintained high ethical standards in his business and personal life. Harold has left a legacy of faithfulness to the Lord. He worked in many capacities at his church, Handley United Methodist, and after moving to Arlington 17 years ago, Fielder Road Baptist. The Lord and his family were his life. He loved this country and served 10 years in the Navy Reserve. We will so miss him.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his precious grandson, Christopher Andrew Hill.
Survivors: His wife of 60 years, Helen; sons, Ken and wife, Penny Hill, of Plano, Randy and wife, Sandy Hill, of Dallas; granddaughters, Bailey and Emma Hill of Dallas; sister, Faith Hill McGlasson and husband, Bill, of Fresno, Calif.; nephew, David McGlasson of Fresno; niece, Lori Lake of Los Angeles, Calif.; and many friends.
