Gregory Dale Wyatt, age 73, of Grand Prairie, TX, passed away, peacefully, on Sunday, September 13, 2020. Greg was born on July 17th, of 1947, to Mary Virginia Meine and David Fulton Wyatt. During Greg’s life he was heavily involved in The Boy Scouts of America, in which he attained the rank of Eagle Scout, became a Brotherhood member of The Order of the Arrow, was a Scout Master and inspired his own son to follow in his footsteps to become an Eagle Scout, as well. In addition to Scouts, later, as an adult, Greg had a passion for storytelling and took part in Toastmasters International, where he rose to the level of Area Governor and was recognized as a Distinguished Toastmaster several times, along with winning many contests, of which he was very proud to do so. He attended college at the University of Austin and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Arlington in Mathematics and went on to have a very prolific career in Tool Design with companies like T.I., Bell Helicopter, General Dynamics, Vought Aircraft and Triumph Aerospace Structures. Among many of the amazing programs he had the opportunity to be a part of, some of the most prestigious were: the V-22 Osprey and the Top Secret B-2 Stealth Bomber. Greg had the honor of meeting the most wonderful woman in the world, Cynthia Diane Shea, when the two were still in High School and got married a few short years later… only to finally be sealed together, in the Dallas Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with their children, later in life. Gregory has, and is survived by, a wonderful brother and sister, Anthony Marcus Wyatt and Margaret Wyatt Morrison, one surviving son, Christopher Daniel Wyatt, one daughter-in-law, Cara Sealey Nicole Harris Wyatt, five grandchildren, Brenden, McKenna, Chloe, Shea and Stephanie Wyatt, as well as many other loving family members and many friends. He is preceded in death by his amazing wife, Cynthia Diane, his mother, Mary Virginia Meine Hise, his father, David Fulton, and his other son, Steven Glen Wyatt. He will be remembered fondly and missed greatly until the day comes that he will see the rest of his family and friends again.
