Geraldie Fleurima Shannon

Geraldie Fleurima Shannon of Euless, Texas, daughter of Arlette and Raoul Fleurima, died on June 11, 2015, after a sudden illness. Born May 21, 1970, in Brooklyn, New York, she worked as a mechanical engineer subsequent to earning a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Florida Atlantic University in 1994. She was a member of the Society of Women Engineers and volunteered with Girls Inc. and M.E.N.D. (Mothers Enduring Neonatal Death). She was also active in her church, First Baptist Church of Euless.

She was preceded in death by her son Theo on August 10, 2006. She is survived by her husband Theodore; their daughter Ysabel; her parents; three sisters, Farah Fleurima, Karine Fleurima, and Valerie Fleurima; four brothers-in-law, Dennis Shannon, John Shannon, Daniel Shannon, and Joseph Sanzone; and six sisters-in-law, Denise Shannon, Kellie Sanzone, Mary Shannon, Patricia Shannon, Paula Shannon, and Marie Shannon.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015, from 5-8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home. The funeral service begins on Friday, June 19, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home. Donations may be made in her name to M.E.N.D.
