Dear Mr & Mrs Hinton and Family, was thinking of Garry today and sadly learned of Garry's passing. Had known of the shooting through my brother Clay but had not spoke to him since it took place. Have very fond memories of Garry, Charles, Clay & I riding our motorcycles through randoll mill park and terrorizing parts of arlington. His trips with us to our farm in Decatur will never be forgotten. Godspeed friend

To the Hinton Family:  I just learned of Gary's passing.  Gary has been persistent in my thoughts for a few months...now I realize why.  I just read of Gary's passing. I have so many memories of our friendship and I often speak fondly of him to my students.  Gary will always be in my prayers and forever in my heart.

Gary you were the strongest and the sweetest man i ever lived with. I Can't belive i didn't get to said goodbye. I'm so sorry I love you and i know you will do a much better job watching over me than i did you.
