Frances E. Forehand

Frances Eidson Forehand, loving wife, mother, and sister, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2023. Frances was born March 8, 1930, in Whitharral, Texas to the late Arthur Eidson and Della Gladys Dalrymple. She married Charles Durwood Forehand on March 31, 1956, in Seymour, Texas.

Frances worked for the Arlington Independent School District for 26 years, was a member of the Arlington Women’s Club and raised two daughters while continuing her love for bridge. She was a long time and active member of the Park Row Church of Christ. Frances enjoyed serving her community by volunteering at Hearts and Hands Food Bank. She loved to travel and looked for adventures in life.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Durwood Forehand, a daughter Felicia Kay Forehand, and one sister, Jennie Campbell.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Gay Forehand of Arlington, Texas, one sister, Irene Kuehler of Seymour, Texas and many other family members across the state.

A visitation for Frances will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012, followed by a graveside service from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hearts and Hands Food Bank of Arlington.
