Eugene "Dock" Jones

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Scott Countryman, Michael Rousey, Brian Alley, Rick Mewherter, Dustin Soward and Larry Shelby.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Billy Graham Foundation or to Mission Arlington.

Eugene was a member of Meadow Lane Baptist Church. He worked at LTV and retired in 1980 as a guard for the Federal Correctional Prison in Fort Worth. Eugene was born Aug. 9, 1926, and was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lura Belle McBee; son, Bryan; brothers, James, Fred, Bert, Jesse and Charles; and his sisters, Alma, Ina Mae and Agnes.

Survivors: His wife of 32 years, Leola; son, Larry and wife, Marilyn; stepchildren, Mike and Ed Rousey, Vicki Nash and Linda Alley; granddaughter, Valerie Morris and husband, Ryan; stepgrandchildren, Brian and Laura Alley, Shelly Tedder and husband, Scott, Brent and Michael, Jr. Rousey, Jennifer and Jessica; and great-grandchildren, Carter, Cannon, Aiden, Preston, Ava, Katlyn, Tyler, Deegan, Hailey and Kyle.
