Elizabeth Shelton Allen was born on September 21st, 1938, to the late Thomas Shelton and Ellen Shelton. Elizabeth accepted Christ as her personal savior at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church at an early age. She united in holy matrimony to John Allen in Dayton, Ohio. This union was blessed with two daughters, Tracy and Patricia Allen.
While residing in Dayton, Ohio, she was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church for 40 years. Upon retiring from Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Elizabeth moved to Arlington, Texas in 2008. She then joined the fellowship with Koinonia Christian Church. In 2016, she was certified as one of the eldest members of the Silver Saints.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Tracy and Patricia Allen; granddaughter, Jessica Allen; three great-grandchildren, Raevyn, Jaevyn and Jourdyn Atkins; and a host of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
