Funeral Mass: 10:00am Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2100 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, TX. Visitation to be held Monday evening, Oct. 10, 2011 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N Davis Drive, Arlington.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie Elaine's memory can be made to the American Disabled Veterans Association. Condolences may be left via Moore's Funeral Home via on-line guest book or her home address.

Marie Elaine was born in South New Jersey and lived in various areas of the Northeast as well as the Washington DC area. In the early 1970's she and her family settled in Arlington, TX and were very active in their children's formative years and the lives of their friends. She was employed as an executive secretary in a vast variety of industries. She prided herself on her values, work ethic, and doing things the right way. Marie Elaine's passions in life were her family, expanding her knowledge in new areas, traveling and crafting. Because of her devotion to the ones she loved and her kind, gentle spirit, she created love and fierce loyalty wherever she went. Marie Elaine was a beacon and mentor for many devoted extended family members and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years John James (Jack); her daughters Nancy Devlin of Seattle and Jill-Marie Devlin of Houston, her son and daughter-in-law Emmet John Devlin and Monique Mahn Ho Devlin of Tiburon, CA; and granddaughters Hayley Lan Devlin, Emily Wai Devlin, and Scarlett Iey Devlin. She is predeceased by her mother, Lois Garton Birdsall Ewing and her father James Henry Ewing; her brother James Henry Ewing Jr., and sister-in-law Kathleen O'Dowd. Her brother William and sister-in-law Rose Ewing reside in Absecon, NJ.
