It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas N. Willoughby, 59, (Fort Worth, Texas) on May 22, 2020. The youngest son of Grace A. Willoughby of Arlington, Texas and James M. Willoughby, deceased, Doug lived a quiet life. A disabled veteran, he served as an engine mate in the US Navy after graduating from Northmont High School in Clayton, Ohio. Doug enjoyed traveling and fishing until his disabilities made it difficult to continue with these hobbies. Doug is survived by his mother Grace, brothers James M. Willoughby Jr. (Albrightsville, PA) and Michael W. Willoughby (Enterprise, AL) and sisters Deborah A. Madewell (Fort Worth, TX) and Theresa A. Willoughby (Arlington, TX). In addition to his siblings, Doug is survived by his nieces and nephew: Amanda Willoughby Doll (Carmel, NY), Kristin Willoughby Stump (White Oak, PA), Kelly G. Willoughby (Arlington, TX) and Michael W. Willoughby II (Enterprise, AL).
Friends of the family are invited to attend the services. A funeral service will be held at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012 on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 1 PM with interment following at Moore Memorial Gardens.
