Douglas Charles Otto, age 71 of Arlington, passed away on November 22, 2020. He was born on July 15, 1949 in Muenster, Texas, the son of Ray Otto and Billie Reinhart Otto. Doug married Helen Claxton and they celebrated 43 years of marriage together before his passing.
Doug will always be remembered for his warm smile and his great sense of humor. He never met a stranger and always loved making friends wherever his travels took him. His greatest time was the time he spend with his family, all of who will miss him dearly.
Doug is survived by his wife, Helen; step-daughter Leslie Baggett; grandchildren Christopher Shoemaker, Jeff Baggett, Katlyn Shelton, and Kevin Shoemaker; and sister Cheryl Felderhoff. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, his step-son Rob Shoemaker, and his brother Calvin Otto.
