Donna L. McClure of Arlington, Texas formerly of Peoria, IL. passed away in Arlington on December 10,2020 from complications of Covid-19. Donna grew up in Peoria completing Kingman Grade School then graduating from Woodruff High School in 1965.
She worked in Peoria for many years at Security Savings and Loan, then at the Bricklayer's Benefit Fund until retirement in 2010.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Orval and Kathryn Wall. Donna is survived by her husband Donald McClure SR, daughter Debra McClure (and partner Eddie Koerner ) of Mansfield, TX, grandson John Cody Sutton (and partner Emily Farris) of Arlington, TX, stepson Donald McClure JR of St. Peter, MN, sister Vickie Wall of Arlington TX, brother Michael Wall of Mapleton, IL, uncle Tommy Johns of Troy, IL, lifelong friends Lucrecia Sturges and Corky Hansen as well as numerous cousins.
Donna was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
Donna requested that there be no visitation. Burial will be on December 28th at 1PM in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, with a small graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests a donation to the American Cancer Society or Shriners Hospitals for Children in St. Louis, MO.
