Oh, Deanna...such memories:  from going to Poly High, working at Motts 5&10 and Acme Brick Co; the Fab 5 (you, me, Sally, Gail and Zelda) driving around in my 58 red convertible; trolling at the Lone Star Drive-In, dating guys from Carswell AFB; parties at your house.  We lost touch, reconnected and then lost touch again.  I'm sorry that I could not have reconnected one last time.  You were a wonderful friend.  God speed, kiddo!

I was so blessed to have such a dear and wonderful friend who was always there for me. She will be missed so much.

I remember Deanna's smile; her laugh; her kindness; her devotion to you, Angie & Tom, and to her Mom and brother, all her family; her style and grace ~ a million positive adjectives could be used for Deanna.  As a friend she was the one you could always depend on for good advice, and for a good joke or witty comment when you needed to laugh.  She made life much better for a lot of people and although she'll be sorely missed, we have the assurance her smile is lighting up Heaven.  God bless you.

God bless you Angie & Tom and comfort you.  I reminisced a long time this weekend with Donny's brother Henry about the fun times we all had with your mom and dad back in the day.  She was a sweet and fun personality and I'm sure she's celebrating with Jesus and all her old friends and family gone before her right now.  I read Ps. 121, its a thoughtful message.

Deanna was a pleasure to work with at St. Paul. I was the secretary then and she would come in to help me in the office. She would take my place when I was out and I could always depend on her. She always had good things to say, especially about Tom & Angie! What a wonderful person she was.  Betty Reisch

Deanna was like a mom to me. She put up with alot of grief but never gave up on me. Her daughter Angela is my nearest and dearest friend and I know how proud her mom would be of her right now. I am glad that I got to be a part of Deanna's life and her family. Prayers go out to all her family and especially dear Angie.

Deanna was a pleasure to work with in our V-22 Program Management Group.She was a ray of sunshine to our group and always had something witty to say to make your day. Even after her retirement and her illness she was very upbeat and I loved seeing her at our retiree luncheons. She was a true friend and will be missed. Our condolances to Angie and Tom and her extended family. We are RVing in Northern Arkansas and will not be able to attend the memorial but she will be in our thoughts and prayers. Hope to see you again.

Aunt Deanna was a huge part of our family an will be sorely missed especially her sense of humor!  Most important to me was that she was my dad's best friend and helped him through some trying times.  I am so very thankful she was able to see our boys grow and even catch a few ball games that she can tell dad all about!

Angie & Tom, you are wrapped in love and prayers on this Mother's Day weekend.  Oh how precious your Mom was to so many of us.  Aunt Deanna, We will miss your candid stories and funny jokes!  We will miss your love and kindness.  You have a very special place in my heart.  Heaven is a better place and I know you are pain free now.   We will miss you always.

Even though Deanna was Wesley, Jr.'s aunt, I will never forgot her kindness when Wesley, Jr. introduced me to the family.  She accepted me unconditionally into the family, as all the family did.  She became my Aunt Deanna at that time.  Aunt Deanna will be missed by everyone who knew her.  I am absolutely sure Heaven is full of rejoicing at this time!  We will look forward to Aunt Deanna greeting us at Heaven's door in the future along with all the other family members who have gone before us.

We will miss Aunt Deanna.  It is an end to an era.  When I was younger I remember how she enjoyed cool music. As an adult, I recall stories of workplace events that I could relate to very well.  I know she loved my dad very much and missed the visits about politicians, The Rangers and The Cowboys.  When I note the date of my father's death and compare to hers, I can't help but think she, like dad, wanted to be with Nanny for Mother's Day.

I will miss my Aunt Deanna so much. She was not only my Aunt, but like a Mother to me for many many years. I have such wonderful memories of her. As a little girl she would pick me up on Friday's and we would spend the weekend together. Movies, popcorn and cokes were our weekends!  I know she is with Nanny, Dandy, Mom, Wesley and Edgar and all the other family members...there is so much celebrating going on in Heaven now! Deanna will be missed so much!
