Funeral: 10:00 am Saturday in Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 5:00 to 9:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
He was born in Chicago, IL on July 17, 1959 to Walter Knox and Sedella D. Turner.
David grew up in Louisville, KY where graduated from Marion C. Moore high school in 1980. Shortly thereafter, David traveled to Dallas, TX. It was here that he met his Queen, Tina. David and Tina were married December 1984 and together they raised two beautiful daughters Erica Lynelle and Danielle Cheri in Arlington, TX.
David was an entrepreneur. He ventured into many fields, in which he mastered them all. Joining in ventures with friends and family was a passion, as he felt he could aid in finding the way to make sure his family didn’t want for anything for generations to come.
Known to the world, as “Dapp,” he spent his life making people see the big picture in everything. He enjoyed making people laugh, and being there for those who needed a friend. Dapp loved living life to the fullest and just plain having a good time at all times.
David was preceded in death by his father: Walter K. Turner, Sr. and brother in law, Jerry Tooley; as well as his father in law: Charles C. Wilson, Sr.

Allen Jr.; his mother, Sedella D. Turner, of Louisville, KY; 3 sisters: Sylvia, Sherri, and Shereen; 3 brothers: Walter Jr, Ernesto, and Tyrone; and host of nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins and friends.
