It's taken me months to even look at the hard evidence that you've gone to rest. I didn't want to believe others words; I kind of wished that no one told me and I could have kept hoping that you went home to your babies and you were in good health. But I guess what you always told me was right "You can't save yourself if you keep saving everyone around you".  I just wish you would've let someone else do the saving for once. 
I may have only known you for a short time, but in that time, I learned that you were one of the best men to ever live. You helped me in more ways than I can put into words or would like to share. I regret not thanking you more. Rest easy, my dear.

Danny was an amazing person who never judged and would do anything for another person. He was one of my best friends.

Danny was an amazing guy, he had my back in many occasions. For a while me, him, and my brother were always hanging out, felt like a third brother to us. We will always remember the signature Danny Ford smile and laugh, also all the crazy times we all had together. Rest well friend and much brotherly love.

Danny you will be missed by many. You touched many lives your short time here with us. Although you are here in spirit still it is hard to move on without you. I pray for peace and loving arms to be with all your family and friends.

I remember sitting down in theater class when I was sixteen years old, and Danny walked into my class. He had this thing about him. He walked into the room, and I swear I saw him and everybody else in this room was just washed away in this soft focus filter. He was so handsome. Little did I know that this was also the boy that I pushed off the swing in Kindergarten and knocked his teeth out. And I couldn't of known then that this man would also take my Son in as his own and allow me to be the mother of the most beautiful little girl in the world. Danny and I had a long, complicated, wonderful story filled with laughter, love, and tears...and it dies with him, as it should. I just want Tanja, and Janet, Tim and Dustin, Dalton, Landon, and Lexi and everyone that Danny meant anything to, to know how proud I am of his accomplishments and the man he became after we separated. And to Danny...I can't say goodbye to you, I don't know how to do that. I'm losing a piece of my heart with you, and I'll get back when we see each other again. Until then...
