Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, in Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington.
Cri was born in El Paso on Jan. 6, 1932 to Antonio and Edith Garcia. She graduated from Loretta Academy in El Paso, received her B.S. in nursing from Loretta Heights in Denver, Colo., and worked in nursing for the U.S. Department of State. Cri married Donald C. Cook on Feb. 6, 1960, in Jacksonville, N.C. She was a member of Rolling Hills Country Club in Arlington and loved traveling, sewing and reading.
Survivors: Husband, Donald C. Cook; daughters, Donna Cook of San Antonio and Theresa Cook of Irving; and sisters, Herlinda Merrihew of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Enedina Snodgrass and husband, Mac, of El Paso.
