Connie S. Whalen

Connie Suzanne Whalen, 59, of Arlington, Texas went to be with her Lord May 7, 2017. She was born in Snyder, Texas on June 26, 1957 to Harold Pettit Maples and Betty Joan Maples. Connie graduated from Sam Houston High School. She was married to Terry A. Whalen on July 28, 1984. Connie had a career in social services for Maximus and the Texas Department of Human Services. She had a passion for all people she met and the love of Jesus Christ.

Those left to carry her light: loving husband, Terry A. Whalen; children, Chad Maples and wife Michelle, Renae Stiff and husband David, Angie Sandoval and husband Jorge; brother, H. Tommy Maples and wife Alice; grandchildren, Taylor Sandoval, Alysia Williams and husband Ashton, AJ Sandoval; great grandchild, Asher I. Williams; nieces and nephews , Tony and Jennifer Maples, Chris and Debbie Maples, Christina and Derrick Robinson; along with many other loved family members and friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 from 6 – 8 PM at Moore Funeral Home. The celebration of her life will take place Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10 AM at Moore Funeral Home. Immediately following the family will receive friends and family for a light reception at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
