Cecil Hughes Morris

Graveside service: 11 a.m. Monday in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Moore Funeral Home.

Cecil was a loyal and loving wife, mother, aunt and friend. She was a very compassionate person and loved working with the elderly. Cecil was a true southern lady, dignified to the end. Everyone who met her, loved her and was amazed by her inner and outer beauty. She was an active member of North Davis Church of Christ for 45 years. She was also active as a leader of Campfire Girls and worked as a real estate broker with Ebby Halliday Realty.

Cecil's family would like to give a special thanks and much love to May Cole and everyone at Autumn Years Personal Care Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Harold J. Morris, along with five brothers and three sisters.

Survivors: She is survived by daughter, Cynthia Morris Thomas and husband, David Thomas, of Houston; grandson, Samuel Morris Thomas; and many loving nieces and nephews.
