Cathy Lynne Martin Smith was born to Frank and Norma Jean on April 25, 1950, in Pittsburg, the eldest of three. Cathy wed Monroe Smith in 1968, and as their family grew they made their home in Odessa, Illinois, Guam, San Diego, Calif., finally settling in Arlington, where they founded The Little TV Shoppes. Her loves included her family, friends, travel, reading, football, cats (many!) and cooking.

Survivors: Husband, Monroe; sons, Cory and partner, Brian Garrison, of Dallas, and Brandon and wife, Kim; daughter, Gina and husband-to-be, Jeff Burpee, of Carrollton; granddaughter, Emma; siblings, Linda Richard of Round Rock and Sam Martin of Newark; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
